A Farewell Reception hosted by Consul-General Yasunori Nakayama was held on July 28 at the Arts & Letters Club to bid farewell to the 56 new participants of the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme departing from Toronto the following day. A total of 185 new JETs from across Canada will be joining the programme this year. Also in attendance were JET alumni, as well as representatives of various organizations which assisted in the recruitment and orientation process.
