Ceremony Confers Foreign Minister’s Commendation to Mr. Ito Yoshikazu

On April 15, a ceremony to confer the Foreign Minister’s Commendation to Mr. Ito Yoshikazu, Secretary General of the Toronto Shokokai (Japanese Society of Commerce & Industry) was held at the official residence of the Consul-General of Japan in Toronto. Since 2007, Mr. Ito has continuously served as both the Secretary General of the Toronto Shokokai and Managing Director of the Japanese School of Toronto Shokokai Inc, and he has contributed to the growth of Japanese companies' economic activities and to mutual understanding and friendly relations with the local community.
 
In his remarks, Consul-General Matsunaga Takeshi commended Mr. Ito for his remarkable contributions toward the promotion of economic relations and friendship between Japan and Canada. Click here to read the Consul General's congratulatory remarks (in Japanese).
