A seminar on cybercrimes

 Canada’s National Cyber Threat Assessment 2025-2026 states, inter alia, Canada’s state adversaries are using cyber operations to disrupt and divide, and ransomware is the top cybercrime threat facing Canada’s critical infrastructure. As the private sector’s concerns grow, a seminar on cybercrimes in particular ransomwares was convened on January 28 by Torys LLP and the Japan Society. Before distinguished panelists engaged in stimulating discussion on how to deal with the risks, Consul General Matsunaga was invited to say a few words.
