“Prospects for Japan's G20 Osaka Summit” Symposium Held at the Munk School

On May 8, Consul-General of Japan Takako Ito attended and gave opening remarks at a symposium entitled “Prospects for Japan's G20 Osaka Summit” held by the University of Toronto's Centre for the Study of Global Japan. The symposium, co-hosted by the University of Toronto’s G20 Research Group and the Consulate-General of Japan, gathered 24 panelists from Japan, Canada, Europe and the US. Lively discussions were held among them on pertinent topics that would be raised at the G20 Osaka Summit, including international economic policies, sustainable development, society 5.0, advanced technology and innovation.
