Muji Canadian Flagship Store Opening Ceremony

On Nov. 22, MUJI Canada held the opening ceremony for its largest flagship store outside of Asia at Atrium on Bay in Toronto. Deputy Consul-General of Japan Satoshi Ominato attended the ceremony on behalf of Consul-General of Japan Takako Ito and gave a celebration speech to the approximately 120 attendees. Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade (Small Business), the Hon. Michael Parsa, also gave a speech, presented Muji Canada with a proclamation from the Government of Ontario and thanked MUJI Canada for investing in Ontario and creating jobs. After the speeches, the speakers participated in kagami biraki, and toasted the celebration of the opening.
