Consul-General’s Commendation Awarded to Mr. Soichiro Yamamoto

On Oct. 27, Consul-General of Japan Takako Ito conferred the Consul-General’s Commendation to Mr. Soichiro Yamamoto, former President of the Uni-ram Corporation and former Chair of the Association of Japanese Canadian Businesses and Professionals (Shinkikai), for his contributions toward business exchange between Japan and Canada and to the Japanese Canadian community. In addition to the advancement of local Japanese businesses, Mr. Yamamoto has been active in various charity work domestically and internationally.
