Consul-General Ito Attends Kampai Toronto

On May 31, Consul-General of Japan Takako Ito attended the 7th annual Kampai Toronto hosted by the Sake Institute of Ontario, an organization comprised of saké wholesalers. The Consul-General attended a seminar for media and food industry representatives, as well as one for the general public. In her speeches she said Kampai Toronto is gaining greater attention every year at a time when Japanese exports of alcoholic products to Canada are increasing. She said she hoped people would use this opportunity to increase their understanding and appreciation of saké.
