Consul-General Ito Attends Japanese Culinary Workshop

On Feb. 2. Consul-General of Japan Takako Ito attended Best of Japan, An Exclusive Culinary Workshop hosted by Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. The workshop featured a demonstration by Chef Takashi Tamura of the celebrated Tsukiji Tamura restaurant on how to make dashi broth, and another by Canadian chefs on how to prepare dishes utilizing dashi. The event was held to promote Japanese food ingredients in Canada.
