Screening of Yoko The Cherry Blossom at the Hot Docs Cinema

The screening of Yoko The Cherry Blossom was attended by its director, Mr. Gen Takahashi (center),
along with Consul-General of Japan Takako Ito (right) and Japan Foundation, Toronto, Executive Director Yuko Shimizu.
On Jan. 14, the Consulate-General of Japan and the Japan Foundation, Toronto, co-hosted a screening at the Ted Rogers Hot Docs Cinema of the Japanese feature film Yoko The Cherry Blossom, directed by Mr. Gen Takahashi who was in attendance to introduce the film and to answer questions afterwards. Judging from the numerous questions asked, the audience was clearly very interested in this film which was based on a true story.
