Sakura Cherry Tree Planting at Tiger Jeet Singh Public School in Milton

On June 19, a ceremony was held at Tiger Jeet Singh Public School in Milton to commemorate the school's 15th anniversary, during which two Sakura cherry trees were planted on the school grounds.

The ceremony of the tree planting and the unveiling of a commemorative monument was attended by Mr. Tiger Jeet Singh and other representatives of the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation, His Worship Mayor Gordon Krantz, Ms. Kristina Tesser Derksen, Member of Parliament, Mr. Hardeep Grewal, Member of Provincial Parliament, Ms. Sameera Ali, Regional Councillor, Ms. Donna Danielli, Trustee of the Halton District School Board, and other distinguished guests. Consul-General Matsunaga participated in the ceremony and delivered remarks.
