Attendance at an Event Hosted by the Peel Regional Police

On February 25, Consul-General Matsunaga attended the ceremony hosted by the Peel Regional Police where 88 new recruits officially became constables. The expressions on the faces of these 88 new officers, full of diversity and potential, spoke volumes about the pride they feel to be part of the Regional Police. The ceremony was an opportunity for Consul-General Matsunaga to recognize how much the provincial government and the community value the role of the Regional Police. During the event, he expressed his respect for the leadership of the Regional Police and his gratitude to the members of the Police for their diligent efforts to ensure the safety and security of the community, including Japanese residents and businesses in Mississauga and Brampton.
