2026/3/10

On March 6, four Japanese university students visiting Toronto under the Japan Friendship Ties Program (KAKEHASHI Project) called on the Consulate-General of Japan in Toronto. Deputy Consul-General Matsui provided an overview of Japan-Ontario relations, followed by a substantive exchange of views. During their stay, the group also paid a courtesy call on Toronto City Councillor Parthi Kandavel, visited relevant institutions, and engaged in exchanges with students at the University of Toronto, carrying out a full program of activities aimed at building bridges between Japan and Canada.
