Sogetsu Ikebana Toronto Branch's 41st Ikebana Show

On September 14, the Sogetsu Ikebana Toronto Branch hosted the 41st Annual Flower show at the Toronto Botanical Garden, displaying 38 works under the theme "Celebrating Canada." Guest instructor Ms. Nana Goto Bellerud, Director of the Sogetsu Ikebana Portland Branch, President of the Ikebana International Portland Branch, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Ikebana Iwaya Fund, captivated the audience with her demonstrations of 10 different techniques using the school's fundamental principles "color, mass, and line." Consul-General Matsunaga delivered opening remarks.
