Visit of the Youth Delegation from Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, to Dundas, Hamilton

On August 10, a welcome ceremony organized by Kids for Kaga was held in Dundas, Hamilton, in honour of the visit from the "16th Dundas Life Experience Delegation" from Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. At the ceremony, three members of the group "Dundas TomonoKai" from Kaga, along with sixteen junior and senior high school students, were welcomed by the Dundas-based Kids for Kaga, local youth, and host families. From the City of Hamilton, Her Worship Mayor Andrea Horwath and City Councillor Alex Wilson attended the event, commending and encouraging the youth exchange between the two cities. Consul Ota Tomohiro from the Consulate-General of Japan in Toronto also attended, expressing respect for the long-standing history of friendship and exchange since 1968, and wishing the delegation a fulfilling stay.
