Cherry Blossom Viewing Event in Waterloo

On May 3rd, Renison University College, which is affiliated with the University of Waterloo, hosted a cherry blossom viewing event. President and Vice Chancellor the Rev. Dr. Mark Jerry and his wife, along with Professor Kimie Hara, community members, students and parents from Sakura Japanese Language School, and others participated in the even, enjoying the cherry blossoms in full bloom. Consul-General Matsunaga gave opening remarks and afterwards exchanged views with President Jerry and representatives of the Japanese community.
