REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  1. Valid passport
  2. Visa application form with 1 recent passport size photo (2 forms and 2 photos are required for countries of Russia/CIS) https://www.mofa.go.jp/files/000124525.pdf
  3. Valid Study Permit/Work Permit/ PR Card* to Canada(must be valid until the date you return to Canada) *Confirmation of PR is NOT acceptable.
  4. Enrolment Letter from school issued within the last 3 months for Study Permit holder
  5. Employment Letter issued within the last 3 months for Work Permit or PR card holder
  6. Flight itinerary(Not an actual ticket, a screenshot printout of your entire planned flight itinerary from Ontario) One-way ticket is NOT acceptable.
  7. Hotel booking for your entire stay(screenshot printout)
  8. Schedule of Stay https://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/pdfs/application7.pdf
  9. Bank statement for the last 2 months (name, date and account balance with sufficient fund)
  10. Proof of kinship (marriage certificate, birth certificate etc.) if necessary
  11. A parental consent letter if the applicant is minor, with the parent’s passport copy, the parent’s bank statements, and the child’s birth certificate
