Grand Opening of Kyowa Kirin Canada

On January 14 in the City of Mississauga, Kyowa Kirin, a Japan-based pharmaceutical company which has its forte in biotechnology and antibody drugs, celebrated the grand opening of its first-ever office in Canada. In the opening ceremony, Mr. Doug Grant, General Manager of Kyowa Kirin Canada, Mr. Matt Mahoney, Deputy Mayor of Mississauga and Consul-General Matsunaga Takeshi gave remarks. These three and Ms. Natalie Hart, Councillor of City of Mississauga, and Ms. Rieko Waxman, EVP Corporate Planning of Kyowa Kirin, cut the ribbon. Consul-General Matsunaga's remarks are here.
