Groundbreaking of a Battery Separator Factory in Port Colborne

On November 15, a groundbreaking ceremony for Asahi Kasei's battery separator factory was convened in Port Colborne. Among the guests at the event were: the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Federal Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry; the Honourable Victor Fedeli, Ontario's Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade; Ambassador Yamanouchi Kanji; and Consul-General of Japan in Toronto Matsunaga Takeshi.
