Participation in an Event Hosted by The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation

On June 24, Consul-General of Japan in Toronto Matsunaga Takeshi was invited to an event hosted by the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation and gave remarks. Mr. Jagjit Singh Hans, a former professional wrestler and current Chairman of the Foundation, received The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays, on April 29 in the 2024 Spring Imperial Decorations, for his contributions to the promotion of Japan-Canada friendship and mutual understanding through sports.
