Japanese culture information booth.
On Aug. 23 (Sat.), the Consulate-General of Japan introduced Japanese culture to the attendants of the Summer Festival of Japan in Hamilton, organized by the Canadian Japanese Cultural Centre of Hamilton and the Hamilton Chapter of the National Association of Japanese Canadians.
This was the second time the festival was held, established to introduce Japanese culture to local residents, unite the Japanese Canadian community, and pass on Japanese culture and traditions to younger generations. Along with performances by local martial artists and musicians, numerous booths were set up to present various aspects of Japan’s culture, and the venue was filled with happy people.
