Promoting Japanese Culture at Anime North 2022

On July 16, the Consulate General of Japan in Toronto held presentations on Japanese culture and anime tourism at Anime North 2022, the largest Japanese pop culture event in Canada. The event was co-hosted by the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) Toronto office.
 
This year’s anime north was held as an in-person event for the first time since 2019. Attendants listened intently and asked many practical questions afterwards, showing strong interest in both Japanese culture and visiting Japan.
