The bright light of the sun’s rays

Through the month of September, the Consulate-General of Japan in Toronto brought the traditional practice of Tsukimi (moon viewing) to Canada with the Moonlight Haiku Challenge (#MoonlightHaikuChallenge). As safety practices continue to keep many of us apart, the campaign invited poets (as well as poets at heart) to connect with the community by sharing their appreciation of the moon through haiku on social media.
