On March 4, a panel entitled “Japan: Climate Change Leader?” was held at the University of Toronto’s Centre for the Study of Global Japan. Following the presentations by Dr. Phillip Y. Lipscy, the Director of the Centre, and Ms. YOSHITAKA Mari, Chief Environmental and Social Strategist for the Environmental Strategy Advisory Division at Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities and Lecturer at Keio University’s Graduate School of Media and Governance, a Q&A session was moderated by Dr. Matthew Hoffman, Professor of Political Science at the University of Toronto.
