Evening of Fine Kaiseki Cuisine Paired with Fine Japanese Sake

On July27, Consul-General Matsunaga hosted a dinner in honour of Dr. George Soleas, CEO of LCBO. Guests also included other LCBO dignitaries as well as Mr. Michael Trembley, a Sake Samurai, Sake Judge and Sake Sommelier, and Mr. Shotaro Ozawa, President of Sake Institute of Ontario. Authentic Kaiseki cuisine, paired with various fine Japanese Sakes, was served by chef Yuji Sugiyama.
