Consul-General Ito Pays Farewell Courtesy Call on the Hon. Elizabeth Dowdeswell, the Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario

On Aug. 13, Consul-General of Japan ITO Takako paid a farewell courtesy call on the Hon. Elizabeth Dowdeswell, the Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario.  Consul-General Ito was the first visitor welcomed in the lounge of the Lieutenant-Governor's Suite since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.  In their meeting, which lasted approximately 30 minutes, the Consul-General and the Lieutenant-Governor shared memories of their work together and discussed topics ranging from SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) to carrying out their respective duties despite the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.  Afterwards, they parted wishing each other continued success and good health.
