A Presentation on Geography

The Wonders of Japan, a program administered by the Consulate General of Japan offering school visits by our staff, was extremely well-received from April through June.

Out staff visited 19 schools in the Toronto area in the two months, or 32 classes with a total of 760 students.  Those from Grades 1 through 6 were treated to workshops on geography, origami, kimono, calligraphy and other activities, while students from Grade 7 through 12 attended presentation on anime and Japanese culture.
