We are not taking applications for visits at this time, but will be shortly. Please check back on this page for updated notices.
The Information and Culture staff at the Consulate-General of Japan often visit schools in the Greater Toronto Area to give age-appropriate presentations on various aspects of Japan. Topics include:
- General information (geography, population, etc.)
- Origami
- Calligraphy
- The Japanese language
- Games
- Traditional culture
- Martial arts
- Anime and manga
These visits are free of charge. We do ask, however, for assistance from the teachers of the school for supervision.
In order to book a visit, please download the guidelines and application form.
Should you have any questions, please contact Atsushi Kato at atsushi.kato@to.mofa.go.jp
