On Dec. 10, Consul-General of Japan Yasunori Nakayama paid a courtesy call on The Hon. Michael Coteau, Ontario’s Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport. They exchanged information and opinions on: Ontario’s Japanese Canadian community; the community’s various cultural exchange activities with Japan; the exchange of people through such programs as the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme; and tourism exchange between Japan and Ontario.
