Consul-General Attends Opening of the Toronto Japanese Film Festival
On June 11, Consul-General of Japan Yasunori Nakayama attended and gave remakrs at the opening of the Toronto Japanese Film Festival organized by the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre. Acclaimed Film Director Masato Harada was also in attendance to introduce his work Kakekomi, which opened the Festival. A Q&A session with Mr. Harada as well as a reception followed the screening. About 500 people were in attendance at this event which deepened their understanding of Japanese culture.
