Consul-General of Japan Yasunori Nakayama attended and gave remarks at the opening of the 33rd Ontario Japanese Speech Contest on Feb. 28 Thirty-six contestants from all over Ontario (excluding the National Capitol Region) showcased their skills in the beginner, intermediate and advanced categories. Winners from each category will go on to the National Contest to take place in Calgary on March 28.
