The 31st Ontario Japanese Speech Contest

 

The 31st Ontario Japanese Speech Contest was held March 2 at the University of Toronto’s J.J.R. Macleod Auditorium. With support from the Consulate-General of Japan and 23 sponsors, including Japanese companies, 39 contestants presented their work before an audience of over 200.

Winners in Each Category

 

 

First to third prizes were awarded in each category, as well as a Grand Prize Scholarship to the best speaker among the first-place winners. In addition, a Special Effort Prize, a Humour Prize and other Special Prizes were awarded.
