The JAPAN NOW Lecture Series continued with Dr. Toshi Minohara, Professor of US-Japan Relations
at Kobe University’s Graduate School of Law and Politics
The fifth JAPAN NOW Lecture Series for the 2016-17 academic year was held on March 17 at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs, featuring Dr. Toshi Minohara, Professor of US-Japan Relations at Kobe University’s Graduate School of Law and Politics. The presentation, entitled "The Age of Three Emperors: The Direction of US Foreign Policy and the Future of US -Japan Relations", took a panel format, with: Dr. Minohara; Ms. Aleksandra Babovic a Lecturer in the Department of Global Affairs, Kyoto University of Foreign Studies; and Prof. David Welch. Munk School Fellow, CIGI Chair of Global Security at the Balsillie School of International Affairs and Professor of Political Science at the University of Waterloo.
Dr. Louis Pauly, Chair of the University of Toronto’s Department of Political Science, moderated the discussion. Researchers, students as well as members of the general public were in attendance for two hours of presentations and question and answers.
