Japan Day at Western University’s Huron University College
Students gathered for Japan Day festivities on Oct. 29 at Western University’s Huron University College in London, Ontario.

Japan Day is organized by Huron students who are studying Japanese, and features Japanese songs and poetry readings. Because the date was close to Halloween this year, many students were in costume – some as anime and maid characters. The Consulate General of Japan manned a booth promoting Japanese culture as well as the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme.
