Open House and Japan Day at the Hamilton Canadian Japanese Cultural Centre
The Canadian Japanese Cultural in Hamilton held its annual Open House and Japan Day on Sunday, Sept. 15. The Consulate General of Japan provided kimono fittings, a taiko performance and Japanese tourism information and more. Japan Day also featured demonstrations of judo, kendo and ikebana flower arrangements by local cultural organizations. Local area attendants enjoyed the day immersed in Japanese culture.
