Appreciating the Beauty and Form of Haiku

A Haiku Seminar was held in the Consulate General of Japan's Sakura Room.

On July 30, the Consulate General of Japan organized a Haiku Seminar for teachers, led by a prominent Haiku Canada member, Ms. Kimiko Horne, who is a receipient of haiku awards both in English and Japanese.. The purpose of this seminar was to familiarize educators with the beauty of Haiku and have them understand the correct haiku form. Teachers from all over Ontario were invited to this event and enjoyed the lecture on how to teach Haiku in class.
