Attend Anime North (May 27 to 29) and get a glimpse of the world of Shojo Anime at a poster exhibition presented by the Consulate-General of Japan in Toronto and the Japan Foundation, Toronto. The exhibit introduces celebrated anime heroines of film and TV. These powerful female characters, mostly school age girls, are found across all anime genres from space adventure to romantic comedy. Each poster also includes a fascinating description of their heroine archetype.
