Consul-General Yamamoto Attends Red and White Singing Contest
Consul-General of Japan Eiji Yamamoto attended the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre’s Red and White Singing Contest on Saturday, December 15.
This contest is co-hosted by the Toronto Geino Aikou Kai the New Japanese Canadian Association and the JCCC, and is one of the largest events of the local Japanese Canadian community with a 30-year-old tradition.
The JCCC’s Kobayashi Hall was packed with approximately 400 attendants, and 14 pairs of representatives from the Red and White teams took turns presenting their songs.
