Educational Facilities and Materials Available at The Japan Information Centre
The Japan Information Centre has facilities and materials which are available to the Canadian public as follows:
1. Library
Our lending library carries books on a wide range of subjects as well as Japanese government publications. It also carries newspapers from Japan, both in English and Japanese, CDs and DVDs.
2. Realia
We also have on loan various items, including traditional Japanese toys, dress, crafts, and much more, that can enhance presentations on Japan. Whether you are a teacher, a student, or just someone who wants to teach others about Japan, these items are sure to be a hit with your audience. For sample photos of these items, click here.
3. The Event Room (including Tatami Room)
The Event Room, which includes a functioning Tatami platform, can be used for seminars, meetings, exhibitions, receptions or something else relating to Japan that you may want to suggest. Click here for more details.
