Consul-General Ito Attends Reception Celebrating the 90th Anniversary of Japan-Canada Relations Hosted by the City of Mississauga

On May 3, Consul-General of Japan Takako Ito attended the reception celebrating the 90th anniversary of Japan-Canada diplomatic relations hosted by the City of Mississauga which is a sister city of Kariya in Japan’s Aichi Prefecture. The Consul-General expressed her appreciation to Mississauga City Council which on April 11 formally recognized the anniversary. At the same time, she expressed hope that Japan and Canada, partners across the Pacific which share common values, will continue to maintain positive relations both economically and culturally.
