Consul-General Pays Courtesy Call to Ontario Tourism, Culture and Sports Minister

Consul-General of Japan Eiji Yamamoto paid a courtesy call to The Honourable Michael Chan, Ontario Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, on Dec. 12.
The Consul-General thanked the Minister for coming to the Consulate-General of Japan to sign the book of condolences immediately after the Great East Japan Earthquake of March this year. He also expressed appreciation for the immense encouragement and support extended by the people of Ontario following the disaster. They also exchanged opinions how to further develop tourism and other forms of exchange between Japan and Ontario.
